Medicare, NDIS, CTP & WorkCover Physiotherapy in Yagoona, Sydney
We make accessing care simple. MF Sports Injury Rehab accepts Medicare, NDIS, CTP claims, WorkCover and most private health insurers — with no out-of-pocket expenses for approved claims and no confusing paperwork on your end.

How We Can Help You Access Care
Medicare
Bulk billing available for eligible patients
If your GP has referred you under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) / Chronic Disease Management plan, you may be eligible for Medicare-subsidised physiotherapy sessions. Where a service is bulk billed, Medicare covers the cost and you pay $0 out of pocket. We are registered Medicare providers — ask our team or your GP whether you qualify.
NDIS
Self-managed and plan-managed participants welcome
We support NDIS participants to maximise physical independence and community participation. Self-Managed Plans: you have full control over your budget and pay us directly — we’ll provide an invoice for you to submit for reimbursement. Plan-Managed Plans: your Plan Manager handles the financial administration — we invoice them directly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork.
CTP Claims
Injured in a motor vehicle accident?
We are registered to treat patients under CTP (Compulsory Third Party) claims. If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident, bring your claim number and we’ll handle the rest — no out-of-pocket expenses for approved claims.
WorkCover
Injured at work?
We treat patients under WorkCover for workplace injuries. Bring your claim details and we’ll manage the paperwork on your behalf, with no out-of-pocket expenses for approved claims.
Private Health Insurance
Most major insurers accepted
We accept most major private health insurers for physiotherapy and remedial massage. Check with your provider to confirm your level of cover before your appointment.
No Out-of-Pocket Expenses for Approved Claims
Navigating insurance and funding can be one of the most stressful parts of getting treatment. Our team handles the claims process directly wherever possible — CTP, WorkCover, and NDIS plan-managed invoicing are all managed on your behalf, so you can focus on your recovery, not paperwork.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Medicare cover physiotherapy in Australia?
Medicare can subsidise physiotherapy if your GP refers you under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) / Chronic Disease Management plan, typically for a limited number of sessions per calendar year. Coverage depends on your individual circumstances — speak to your GP about a referral, then bring it to your appointment with us.
Can I use my NDIS plan for physiotherapy or massage at MF Sports Injury Rehab?
Yes. We work with both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. If you’re self-managed, we invoice you directly for reimbursement. If you’re plan-managed, we invoice your Plan Manager directly so there’s no paperwork on your end.
How do CTP claims work for physiotherapy after a car accident?
If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident and have an active CTP claim, bring your claim number to your appointment. We handle the claims paperwork directly with the insurer, so approved treatment comes at no out-of-pocket cost to you.
Is physiotherapy covered under WorkCover for a workplace injury?
Yes, if your injury is an accepted WorkCover claim. Bring your claim details to your appointment and we’ll manage the invoicing directly with WorkCover, with no out-of-pocket cost for approved treatment.
